Our rotary crossheads and in-line heads use a patented design for rotating the tip and die. This causes a crossing of the molecular direction of the material flow. The linear molecular structure of the polymer material crosses angularly forming a substantially stronger wall section by rotating the tip and die in opposite directions. The result is substantially increased wall strength, reduced wall thickness and material savings.
Important for Medical Tube products, the reduced diameter is particularly desirable for ensuring mininally invasive applications. The tube product may be multiple layer and stripes depending on design requirements.
